GitHub Pages is a service that turns Markdown files into a website and hosts them for free on the internet. If you know how to use GitHub and you need to create a simple webpage, you can’t do better than GitHub Pages. Just create a new repository on GitHub, commit the Markdown files, and enable the GitHub Pages feature. StackOverflow, and GitHub had millions of people using Markdown. And Markdown started to be used beyond the web, to author books, articles, slide shows, letters, and lecture notes. What distinguishes Markdown from many other lightweight markup.

Render a Markdown document in raw mode

You must send Markdown as plain text (using a Content-Type header of text/plain or text/x-markdown) to this endpoint, rather than using JSON format. In raw mode, GitHub Flavored Markdown is not supported and Markdown will be rendered in plain format like a README.md file. Markdown content must be 400 KB or less.
